吴锡初,江苏宜兴丁蜀镇人。于一九六四年出生。工艺美术师，中国工艺美术协会会员，宜兴市陶协会员。于一九八九年和爱人蒋国芬（工艺美术员）创办了中国宜兴蜀麓紫砂工作室。 由于从小受传统紫砂工艺的熏陶，加上二十多年的探索磨练。其作品功底深厚，制作技法巧妙。造型古朴典雅，线条圆润流畅，身受海内外陶艺玩家赏藏。作品曾多次获得紫砂行业评比金奖，并升值潜力。 宜兴蜀麓紫砂常年制作紫砂壶系列产品,近期推出磁化紫砂保健壶新品.
